Curtici is located in the western part of Romania, in close proximity to the state border with Hungary, at a distance of 17 km north of Arad. The city borders Hungary and the commune of Macea to the north, the village of Andrei Șaguna to the east, Sânpaul and Șofronea to the south, and the commune of Dorobanti to the west.
